In 1978, Norberto Cortes Rios & Lisa Cortes Fritz found a home for the Mision Mazahua (MM) they had in their hearts in Dolores Hidalgo, San Felipe del Progreso. Norberto & Lisa were a marriage of Norberto's Mexican culture and Lisa Cortes Fritz American culture. They came to Mazahua country answering God's call to work alongside the Mazahua to meet their physical needs and promote self-sufficiency and independence. By doing this MM is given a chance to live out faith while promoting a life-changing Christianity among those served.

Ramps are also built in the communities as part of this program.
